What
is digital pedagogy?
Digital
pedagogy can be broadly defined as the use of electronic or multimedia aspects
to either enhance or positively change the educational experience. Use of
technological aspects can encompass, but not limited to, PowerPoint
presentations in the classroom, multimedia features such as videos and podcasts
and the use of online based educational materials. Typically the type of
activities that learners are introduced to include ‘blogging’ assignments and
encouraging the learners to make use of digital tools to test ideas. Digital
pedagogy thus encompasses incorporating technology in the classroom, with the
purpose of transforming teaching and learning experience in diverse ways.
